Gotham Ghostwriters: Ghostwriting Agency for Books, Speeches and Thought Leadership

What is Gotham Ghostwriters?

Gotham works as a matchmaker and project manager rather than a single writer. After a free consultation, it selects a writer from its network based on the client’s priorities, and it also advises on publishing paths through relationships with literary agents, publishers and PR firms.

The agency is especially strong in business and public-figure books, and it publishes a Business Book ROI Study on what business books actually return for their authors. Its writers include well-known collaborators, and it also handles novels and other creative writing.

What Gotham Ghostwriters works on

• Business books for executives and founders
• Public-figure memoirs via its roster of collaborators
• Speeches and thought leadership for CEOs and officials

Track record

• Founded by CEO Dan Gerstein
• 4,000+ editorial specialists in its network
• Writers who have worked on hundreds of bestsellers

Who Gotham Ghostwriters is a good fit for

Executives, public figures and organizations that want an agency to find and manage a top-tier writer.

Things to consider

Agency projects carry agency pricing. A tight budget memoir may be better served by an independent writer or a life-story service.
